Our Story

The Newhouse Foundation, a private foundation based in New York, established in 1947 by Samuel I. Newhouse an American media mogul, businessman, magazine and newspaper publisher. He is the founder of Advance Publications Inc which made him his fortune that he passed down to his two sons Samuel Irving Newhouse Jr (Deceased) and Donald Edward Newhouse, the current owner of the Newhouse Foundation and the family business.

Donald Edward Newhouse has decided to use his wealth to help the society and individuals after he lost his brother in 2017, as he firmly believes in "GIVING WHILE LIVING" which is why he has continuously invested most of his wealth in giving back to society.
